SWIMMING IS FUN
At Splish Splash Swim, learning to swim is not only fun but will give pupils the skills to progress to other aquatic disciplines such as Artistic Swimming, Water Polo, Diving, Competitive Swimming and Life Saving. Splish Splash Swim Ltd is a member of Swim England and adheres to their Code of Ethics and Child Protection Policy - WAVE POWER. Splish Splash Swim Ltd has the appropriate Public Liability and Employment Insurance. The Splish Splash team are DBS checked to an enhanced level.
ABOUT US
Splish Splash Swim Ltd is a family run business and was established in 2007 to provide high quality swimming lessons in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, Grace Dieu Manor Park and Tamworth Enterprise College.
We have won an award for best Preschool Awards Bronze.
We have been working really hard and we would like to thank all our loyal and hard working staff along with our loyal customers.
GOVERNING BODY
Working closely with the British Governing Body for swimming, Swim England, we provide the most up to date teaching skills and we ensure that all our instructors are fully qualified to the appropriate standard.
TRAINING CENTRE
As an accredited training centre of the Royal Life Saving Society, we run National Pool Lifeguard courses for new lifeguards and provide on going regular training for our staff.
FOR THE ADVANCED SWIMMER
Our classes are carefully crafted to meet the development needs of each and every child. Our educators and support staff are highly professional and trained.
SPLISH SPLASH STAFF
All our Swim Teachers are qualified with Swim England or Swim Teachers Association at Level Two or Advanced. Our Assistants are Qualified at Level One. All Teachers hold their National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, which includes FAW and Defib or their Teacher Rescue Qualification. They are members of the Institute of Swimming and are Enhanced DBS checked with the Swim School.
Our Lifeguards are all fully qualified RLSS NPLQ Lifeguards as well as being DBS Enhanced checked. We all attend monthly training to keep line with Resuscitation council guidelines and the RLSS ongoing training programme.
LESSON STRUCTURE
A course of swimming lessons is made up of ten, twenty five minute sessions, giving the pupils the opportunity to repeatedly practise their new found strokes and skills.
We teach the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming, which is recognised throughout the country, to award swimmers on their achievements as they progress through the seven fundamental stages.
These awards are assessed on a continual basis and are awarded only when the instructor is certain that the skills required can be performed and repeated with ease.
SWIMMING CLUB
Staff at Splish Splash Swim Ltd will encourage any swimmer showing potential to progress onto the next level of the swimmer pathway. There are many competitive swimming clubs within the local area, but we would recommend Coalville Swimming Club as a natural progression from our learn to swim programme. The club has achieved Swim21 to Skill Development level. Swim21 Club Accreditation is the Swim England's' ‘quality mark’ scheme.
